Nithmael are either male or female creations of the god Nu. Nithmael are grey, gaunt, dutiful, and meek in disposition and appearance. Their hair is short and dark grey. Their main offense is sheer numbers, chaos magic, and magical daggers. Their spells increase in effect with the number of nithmael who cast as a unit. They can cast darkness, fear, confusion, and chaos storm. Being children of chaos, it is in their nature to bend rules, either following the exact order or the nature of the order by Nu. They were created for a single purpose: to destroy the Material Plane. It is believed that Nu will one day release a great army of nithmael to exact their purpose under certain circumstances.

The nithmael are bitter enemies with the nithfael. The nithfael are of the same race, but have pledged to bring order to the universe and fight chaos. The nithmael and nithfael are diametrically opposed in this regard and have sworn to destroy each other.
